The Yemeni Leadership Council (LC) on Wednesday issued the Republican Decree (9) for 2022, appointing Aden governor as a state minister and member in the cabinet.

A Republican Decree No. (9) for 2022,
Concerning the appointment of a state minister,
The Presidential Leadership Council,
Based on the Yemeni Constitution, Law (19) for 1991 regarding the Civil Service, Republican Decree (7) for 2020 regarding the formation of the Cabinet and naming its members, the GCC Initiative and its executive mechanism on 22 November 2011, the National Dialogue Conference’s outcomes, and the Presidential Statement dated 7 April 2022 regarding the transfer of power and formation of PLC, and approval of PLC members,
The PLC decided:
Article (1): To appoint Ahmed Hamid Lamals as a state minister and member in the cabinet.
Article (2):This decree is applicable as of its issuance date and should be published in the Official Gazette.
